Yesterday was Alexander last day of school before Christmas vacation. Here's a picture from his party. He made a beautiful gift for Mommy & Daddy and I will post a picture of that hopefully by tomorrow.

Writing Skills
Alexander has been home from school most of the week this week, due to allergies. He is doing much better today. We've worked on different things this week. Today we worked on writing our name without tracing help. He doesn't quite have Alex down just yet. But he did such a great job. We are soo proud of him for "trying" so hard to write his name. Good job, Alex!!

Arv's 21st birthday
It's been a while since I posted anything. We have been very busy. We celebrated Arv's birthday several times. If you know me at all, you know I am big on my children's birthday's. So we had a party at home on his actual birthday (November 10, 2008). And then we had a surprise party for him the following Sunday. It was fun and we were actually able to keep it a surprise. Grandma was sick, so Grandpa and her weren't here but everybody else was. It seems so unreal to have a 21 year old. He is still growing up but we love him very much!

Summer Reading Award

Listening for sounds
Tonight was Book Fair & Curriculum night at Alexander's school. We went to his classroom for some Science activities where he was the only student in his class to show up. So needless to say he got some great one on one time with Ms. Melanie. He got to play as well as learn some new activities that Mommy is gonna try out soon! :) We are soooo thankful he loves school like he does.

First day of Preschool for the 2nd time
This is Alexander's first day back to Preschool. He started back to school August 27th. He has the same teacher and assistant, Ms. Melanie & Ms. Patricia. Ms. Marilyn is not back this year but he has Ms. Angie, who was a frequent substitute teacher last year. He loves to go to school and has learned so much in the last year. This past summer he was FINALLY potty trained (thanks for your assistance Grandma)! :)
Alexander's big weekend in Pigeon Forge
This is Alexander's Labor Day Vacation. He had loads of fun, as you can tell by the pictures.
